The previous season at the Wallace household saw the twins David and Jennifer become teenagers. David wants to be sure to find Ms. Right and has a lifetime want of having 50 first dates. He didn't waste any time getting started. His first date was with Felicia Patrick.
David's mother Mary on the other hand, went out on a date with neighbor and friend Ross Morgan. They had been flirting off and on at Lures 'N Mates and so the two single friends decided to go on a date. Things heated up rather quickly and they participated in a few extracurricular activities.
Mary was glad Ross had convinced her eyeglasses were sexy. Her vanity had prevented her from wearing glasses even after she had come home from work with headaches.
What?! You don't find me attractive? But, what about what happened in the car?
Listen you, I don't want to be just "friends with benefits"!
Mary put on a brave face with the children. She was too humiliated to tell them what had happened on her date with Ross. She listened to David chatter on to his sister Jennifer about summer vacation and buried treasure maps.
Snoopy was promoted to star and thus reached the top of the showbiz career. At least someone in this household is doing well at their career.
Mary decided it was time to follow her friend Susan's advice and get over Ross. She struck up a conversation with Joel Barnett, the mailman. He's quite shy, and also quite ticklish.
But what a hunk! Delivering the mail keeps Joel in tip top shape.
David fell behind in his English homework because he was so busy chasing girls. Luckily Mary had time to help him catch up.
Round 3 Summary: David went on 2 dates and was awarded the Quigley Visual Arts Stipend and the Sim City Scholars Grant. Jennifer was promoted to Spelunker in the Teen Adventure career. Snoopy reached the top of the Showbiz career. And poor Mary. She was finally promoted to Obituary Writer but she discovered Ross Morgan was just looking for fun and not a commitment.

Hey, I just discovered that I could sign in with my LiveJournal account!
I hate the "50 first dates" want so much because it takes so much time if you take it seriously. "50 dream dates" is so much better because the more you date the same person, the easier it is to get a dream date. But with first dates, it takes so long just to get to know each other, so it is very hard to get anything good from the date. David has quite a challenge ahead of him!
And shame on Ross for treating a lady like that...
I'm glad commenting works again (I've had trouble with it on occasion when I've upgraded) and that the LiveJournal account works for comments!
I've been trying to be good about sticking with the date for the duration, although I tend not to allow David too much room to get pink hearts :) I've been playing ahead of my blogging, so there's some interesting things in store for Ross, stay tuned :D
Thanks for commenting!
