I've been an Amnesty International member for the past few years, and even raised a bit of money for them during Blogathon 2007 but this is one of the cooler ads they've done yet. Its a message for President Obama, very tongue in cheek at the beginning with the serious proposal at the very end. Narrated by Patrick Stewart, a long time Amnesty International supporter/spokesperson. Watch.

Another video for Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen fans is the Royal Shakespeare Company's Stand Up for Shakespeare campaign. Also participating are Judi Dench and David Tennant. Watch.

What I wouldn't give to be able to see Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen on stage together! I can only hope they will bring it to the USA after completing its run in the UK. UK dates are from March 5 until April 30. Dates and theater information are available via the official site.
