I just found a great new free app from readdle.com for my iPhone. The Complete works of Shakespeare, provided in conjunction with PlayShakespeare.com. I know a lot of these are available via Google Books, but hey, this app is free and has an intuitive interface. I had a couple of the plays on my iPhone via eReader, but this is most, if not all, of his works. And did I mention it is free?

Majel Barrett-Roddenberry passed away today from Leukemia. Whether remembered for her portrayal Nurse Chapel, Dr. McCoy's blonde nurse who was hopelessly in love with Mr. Spock, or as Lwaxana Troi, the eccentric mother of Counselor Deanna Troi and relentless pursuer of Captain Jean-Luc Picard, or as the voice of the ship's computer, she was involved in almost every Star Trek project beginning with the pilot of the Original Series. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made in her name to her favorite animal rescue organizations, Precious Paws and C.A.R.E.
