November 2006 Archives
I can’t believe it, but I finally finished a NaNoWriMo. I crossed the finish line at about 7:20 Hawaiian Standard Time and even had about 582 words to spare. I’m all typed out for now. I’ll be posting more frequently once my eyes, wrists, shoulders and neck have recovered from the strain, LOL!

For the first time ever, I have broken the 40K mark for NaNoWriMo. Hopefully I’ll be posting a victory post soon. It is all over, no matter what on Thursday, November 30th. Wish me luck!
Time for me to get back to the work in progress…
Nine days into NaNoWriMo and I’m still chugging along. I’m about 800 words behind the target, but not feeling badly about it. I still don’t have a name for it, but hopefully something will come to me.

It’s November, which means its time for me to take on the beast otherwise known as NaNoWriMo. This will be my third attempt. I do a little better each year, but I’ve yet to finish. The first year, I was foiled by PC hardware that had to die in November, and last year my husband’s gall bladder decided it was a good time to come out. This year I’m doing a bit of surgical recovery myself, but I feel up for the challenge. Yesterday, I managed 1673 words so I’m off to an ok start.
Good luck to all the participants!
