new video for Patrick Stewart's birthday
Between being busy at work and discovering that I’m a little rusty at the whole music vid thing (this is my first one in six months) I’ve not been around too much lately. Hopefully, I’ll get caught up on everything soon. I know it’s a little early, but I may wind up working late the next few days.
Well without babbling on too much, here’s the vid, Change the World by Eric Clapton. A bit different from last year’s I think, but hopefully still fun for everyone. I’ve included both a windows media player and quicktime version, although I’m not sure how well Adobe Premiere Elements did with creating the quicktime files. The filesizes on the quicktime ones are pretty enormous but I don’t know how to fix that with this program. I apologize if I missed anyone in the credits (I probably did).Comments/feedback always welcome.
Please download to your local computer (should just be able to right/option click and Save As). It is kinder to my bandwith and you’ll get a better playback.

Lyrics to Change the World by Eric Clapton
Shine it on my heart so you could see the truth
That this love I have inside is everything it seems
But for now I find it's only in my dreams
CHORUS:
That I can change the world
I would be the sunlight in your universe
You will think my love was really something good
Baby if I could change the world
If I could be king even for a day
I'd take you as my queen I'd have it no other way
And our love will rule in this kingdom we have made
Till then I'd be a fool wishin' for the day
CHORUS:
That I can change the world
I would be the sunlight in your universe
You will think my love was really something good
Baby if I could change the world
Baby if I could change the world
- GUITAR SOLO -
CHORUS:
That I can change the world
I would be the sunlight in your universe
You will think my love was really something good
Baby if I could change the world
Baby if I could change the world
Baby if I could change the world
Now playing: The Cramps - Aloha From Hell

Rusty shmusty!!! Your new video is fantastic! Not only is it wonderful in its own right (choice of clips/stills and the ways in which they're related to the lyrics, pacing and feel for the music itself) but it's also a nice contrast to last year's vid--one an unabashed celebration of his body and the other an ode of admiration to his heart and mind... such a nice way to recognize one attractive, talented humanitarian. Thank you for sharing. :)
