I normally don’t spend much time on ebay (there is always something I want to buy) and I’ll only buy autographed items when its auctioned by/for a charity. Well last week I won a bid on a Patrick Stewart autographed baseball cap for/from The Elephant Santuary. After I won the bid, they told me they had a few other Patrick signed items that they will be auctioning. Anyway, it looks like this week it is a T-Shirt that he signed that is up for auction. (He signed these items backstage in London while he was performing in A Life in the Theatre.) No one has bid on the item, so I thought I’d give it a shout out. Here’s the link to all the Elephant Sanctuary items up for auction. I believe they only ship to the United States and Canada, so the international buyers might want to see if they can make arrangements with one of their stateside friends for shipping.

NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) starts in just a couple of days. I encourage everyone to visit the site and at least consider participating. Whether you write a masterpiece or the next cure for insomnia, it is all in good fun. Come on and join the insanity. Preparations and prior writing experience are definitely NOT required. *Gives slight arm twist to those sitting on the fence on participating.*
