July 2005 Archives
I’m participating in an icon challenge over at livejournal. I will be attempting to make 100 icons of my subject, Jean-Luc Picard, in 10 weeks. For more info and to see my progress, check out the Icon Challenge section.
Note for those on dialup there are 100 jpegs contained in a table so the page might be a little slow loading.
Wish me luck as I think I’m in over my head (or out of my mind at least)!
Now playing: Eric Clapton - Sunshine Of Your Love
Just saw this today…
the futon critic - the web's best primetime television resource
“Jules Verne’s Mysterious Island,” a three-hour movie event, is the most thrilling adventure unknown to man. Starring Kyle MacLachlan, Omar Gooding, Gabrielle Anwar and Patrick Stewart, “Jules Verne’s Mysterious Island” is directed by Russell Mulcahy (“3: The Dale Earnhardt Story”) and premieres Saturday, September 17 (8/7 c).
I've added a few credits for the still photos used in the Patrick Stewart themed music video (original post and link to the music video can be found here.).
Another music vid on by request, this one is set to the Aqua song, Turn Back Time. (Lyrics). Please download (right/option click on the link) to save the file locally to your computer. It’s kinder on my bandwith and it’ll playback smoother.

All Star Trek clips belong to Paramount.
Now playing: Eric Clapton - Revolution
In honor of Patrick Stewart’s birthday and to give us fans something to celebrate with, here’s a Patrick themed music vid. Credits for the clips are at the end of the video. Some of the still images are from the A&E Biography, others were gathered from the internet. If one of the candids belongs to you, please leave me a comment and I will be glad to include it with this post. I collected the images quite a while ago and can’t trace where they are all from.
Please do a “save as” by either right/option clicking on the link. It’ll play better and save on my bandwith. Also, it may not be suitable for workplace viewing :P
- CABLE/DSL version ~ 11MB
- Dialup version ~ 3.5 MB

Edit July 18, 2005 Credit for some of the still images, copyrights remain with their owners.

Patrick Stewart to play Prospero in The Tempest as part of the RSC yearlong Shakespeare festival. Way cool for those that get a chance to see it.
